Two very different products are combined in this new Omexco range : at one hand cane strips on a paper backing, at the other hand a non-woven wallcovering. Cane, wonderful if used with it's natural colours, is at the same time very convenient to be overprinted with subtle and varied colours and printing techniques. For some items, the cane strips are impregnated separately, before applying the paper backing, in a colour, which is in slight contrast with the colour of the backing. For other items, the cane and the backing are being coloured at the same time, after the application of the backing, which results in a more uniform colouring. The non-woven wallcovering has many different technical qualities: it meets Class 0 (fire standard), has an excellent light resistance, is washable, ecological, is suitable for use on ships (marine wheel), is stable and easy to install (glue on the wall, no need to humidify the backing of the wallcovering). Cane&Sand offers a wide range of colours, with complementary shades for the cane and for the simili-plain non-woven : many warm combinations of brown, wood, caramel, cinnamon, sienna... some lighter touches of cream, straw, pearly pink, pastel blue and green, and here and there some stronger colours like eggplant, taupe, India ink, wine-red... Both wallcoverings are sold cut length (no minimum order) - width 91 cm for the cane, and 1 m for the non-woven wallcovering. Number of references : 34 (9 colours of cane, 25 non-woven items) |
